Job Title: Housekeeping Room Attendant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at 1032455 B.C. LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of hotel rooms, common areas, and other facilities. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, clean and disinfect elevators, handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers, clean changing rooms and showers, address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Environmental Focus: Involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes, such as reducing waste and promoting sustainability.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a positive and respectful work environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role that requires bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, excellent written communication, values and ethics.
