Job Title: Housekeeping Room Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at 1032455 B.C. LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of hotel rooms, common areas, and public spaces. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Housekeeping: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, clean and disinfect elevators, handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers, clean changing rooms and showers, address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Specialization or Experience: Green economy sector, specialized environmental skills and knowledge.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, walking.
  • Own Tools/Equipment: Uniform.
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, excellent written communication, values and ethics.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience or equivalent experience.
