Job Title: Housekeeping Room Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at 1032455 B.C. LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of hotel rooms, common areas, and other facilities. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, clean and disinfect elevators, handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers, clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Guest Services: Address customers' complaints or concerns, provide excellent customer service, and ensure a positive guest experience.
  • Specialized Skills: Green economy sector, specialized environmental skills and knowledge, criminal record check.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, walking.
  • Personal Qualities: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, excellent written communication, values and ethics.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a non-smoking environment.
  • Availability to work in a hotel, motel, or resort setting.
