We are seeking a highly skilled Account Relationship Coordinator to join our team at the British Council. This role will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key accounts, identifying needs and enhancing opportunities to meet business-related targets.

Key Responsibilities
-------------------

* Build and maintain relationships with key accounts to cultivate segments and enhance opportunities
* Identify and report on opportunities to drive business growth
* Provide timely feedback on commercial planning scenarios
* Achieve sales and account targets while ensuring customer satisfaction
* Deliver business through a network of partner test centres

Account Management
-----------------

* Deliver the in-year Account Plan
* Liaise with B2B support from Operations team to review quality of delivery
* Link with Marketing for targeted events and campaigns
* Input into contract review and refresh
* Work to defined Account Relationship standards and frameworks

Market and Customer Intelligence
---------------------------------

* Ensure product/sector knowledge is up to date and forward thinking
* Provide account/country specific input into market intelligence activities
* Use standard processes and techniques to carry out routine research and analysis

Analysis and Reporting
-----------------------

* Regularly record and report on operational activity levels and performance data
* Contribute data to enable the development and distribution of high-quality marketing collateral

Test Day Support
-----------------

* Participate in Duty Officer duties on a rotational basis to support test day delivery

Requirements
------------

* Local language skills to the CEF C1 level
* English language skills to the CEF C1 level
* British Council Core Skills: Communicating and Influencing, Managing Projects, Commercial and Business Development, Account and Partnership Management
* Role-specific Knowledge and Experience: Understanding of building and maintaining relationships with business/institutional clients, experience of actively identifying needs and enhancing opportunities with institutional clients

Desirable
----------

* Experience of working with UK exam boards
* Knowledge of the educational sector in the country/region
* Experience in or knowledge of business development or marketing in a service sector context
* University degree in any subject or qualification in a relevant field
