At Global Relay, we're a leader in enterprise information archiving, offering cloud archiving, surveillance, eDiscovery, and analytics solutions. Our mission is to help highly regulated firms securely capture and preserve their communications data, ensuring compliance with stringent regulations.

Your Role:

As a Senior Data Scientist, you'll work with our team to build innovative AI and ML solutions for our customers. You'll apply a wide range of models to large electronic communication archives, classifying and understanding communication content. Your expertise will help us tackle complex problems in machine translation, transcription, natural language processing, and generative AI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with data scientists and developers to design, develop, and deploy AI and ML models.
  • Execute the entire data science process, from understanding business requirements to model deployment.
  • Produce detailed reports on model performance.
  • Identify and solve critical problems, coordinating with other teams as needed.
  • Participate in Agile processes, including design review, code review, and sprint planning.
  • Work with Product Management to generate and refine user stories.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and mentor junior data scientists.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in machine learning problem-solving.
  • BSc in a STEM or Linguistics subject or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience working with large data sets in an enterprise environment.
  • Proficiency in Python and Bash.
  • Experience with popular ML libraries like PyTorch, Sklearn, TensorFlow, and TensorRT.
  • Ability to mentor junior data scientists.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • MSc or PhD in a STEM or Linguistics subject.
  • Data collection and cleaning experience.
  • Data engineering skills.
  • Experience with Acoustic or language models, Kubernetes, and microservices.
