Job Summary

The Acute Care Nursing Resource Team is a new and dynamic program at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre designed to provide nurses with a broad range of skills and knowledge to practice in multiple specialties within set clinical clusters.

As a member of the Acute Care Nursing Resource Team, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of clinical settings, providing care to patients with diverse needs. You will be part of an inter-professional team that prioritizes Person-Centered Care and is committed to providing high-quality, safe, and ethical care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care to patients in various clinical settings
  • Participate in professional development and reflective practice
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals

Requirements:

  • Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Current Heart and Stroke Foundation CPR certification
  • Acute care nursing experience preferred
  • Demonstrated commitment to Person-Centered Care
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
