Financial Operations Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team at Aitchison College of Technology & Health Sciences Inc. This is a permanent position, working 40-44 hours per week.
About the Role- The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing cheques for payroll and calculating fixed assets and depreciation.
- They will maintain financial records, establish and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, and prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports.
- This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail, as well as proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., accounting, finance).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- An estimated salary range of $55,000-$65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
