We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Barry Callebaut. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for coordinating all activities to meet production, quality, and delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assign personnel to meet production requirements, ensuring timely delivery of products to clients;
  • Ensure production meets FSSC 22000, HACCP, and GMP standards;
  • Develop, evaluate, propose, control, and test new procedures, methods, and tools to promote continuous improvement in department operations;
  • Ensure adherence to and improvement of health and safety rules;
  • Train, evaluate, and develop personnel on various shifts;
  • Manage a team of 10-15 unionized employees;
  • Participate in various production-related projects;
  • Support and participate in implementing actions to meet established quality standards;
  • Be responsible for verifying departmental CCP documents and informing the QC/QA department of any major deviations before product release;
  • Contribute to maintaining product safety by adopting behaviors meeting defined requirements.

Requirements

  • Degree in Food Transformation, Industrial Management, or equivalent in experience;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in supervision in a manufacturing environment;
  • Experience in a unionized environment;
  • Experience in the food industry, an asset;
  • Leadership, organizational skills, creativity, teamwork, and achievements demonstrating ability to manage change and increase productivity;
  • Creativity, enjoying working in a team, and under pressure;
  • Good knowledge of MS Office software;
  • Functional English, an asset.
