Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at Professional Book Fairs. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate logistics for seminars, conferences, and other events
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars
  • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage correspondence
  • Compile data, statistics, and other information to support business decisions
  • Oversee the preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials
  • Order office supplies, manage inventory, and maintain a organized workspace
  • Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers
  • Arrange travel, itineraries, and make reservations
  • Provide exceptional customer service and greet visitors
  • Prepare and proofread correspondence, reports, and other documents
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Equivalent experience may be considered
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other software applications
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 30-hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
