Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Delhi Street Restaurant is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
  • Train and supervise food service staff in their duties, ensuring they adhere to our high standards of sanitation and safety.
  • Estimate and manage food and supply inventory to ensure we meet our quality control standards.
  • Hire and manage a team of food service staff to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of stock, sales, and wastage to inform our menu and inventory decisions.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to management on key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with our chef to prepare food order summaries and ensure seamless kitchen operations.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing menu and inventory needs.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced restaurant environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the shift.
  • Standing for extended periods to supervise kitchen operations.
Language:
  • English is the primary language of communication in this role.
