Food Service Manager

Jungle Jim's Restaurant is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen and dining areas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high food quality standards, and leading a team of kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Kitchen Staff: Lead a team of kitchen staff, including cooks, dishwashers, and food preparation assistants, to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
- Quality Control: Inspect food and service to ensure they meet Jungle Jim's high standards, making adjustments as needed to maintain exceptional quality.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that inventory levels are adequate to meet customer demand.
- Training and Development: Train new staff members on food preparation, cooking, and handling procedures, as well as provide ongoing training and coaching to improve skills and performance.
- Work Schedules: Establish and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak periods.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or kitchen management role
Jungle Jim's Restaurant is a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires strong communication and leadership skills. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will work in a team-oriented setting, interacting with customers, staff, and management to ensure seamless operations.
Work Language: English
Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
