Job Title: Sales Development Manager for Quick Service Restaurants

Ecolab is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Manager to join our Quick Service Restaurant division. As a Sales Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by developing strategic sales plans and providing comprehensive solutions to meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build a sales pipeline by cold-calling and prospecting to secure new accounts and generate new sales within a specific geographic area.
  • Use a consultative approach to learn customers' systems and devise unique proposals and solutions as their expert on advanced cleaning and sanitation processes and programs.
  • Coordinate and collaborate in partnerships with fellow associates to maximize Ecolab's sales growth efforts in key accounts and facilitate cross-divisional sales opportunities.
  • Drive new business to meet or exceeding sales targets.
  • Assist field sales associates with accounts that are in jeopardy and provide education on the most effective tools to grow street sales.
  • Serve as the key point of contact in a local industry-related organization.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education preferred.
  • 2-3 years of sales experience with a successful sales track record.
  • Related sales and account management experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry with an understanding of food safety is an asset.
  • Must have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Proof of Covid-19 vaccination may be required based on client site requirements.
Physical Demands:

Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.

Territory:

British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan.

Overnight Travel:

Up to 20%.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous business to business commercial sales experience.
  • Industry related experience in food service, hospitality, food safety procedures.
  • Proven negotiation, relationship management, communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong track record of producing results and growing markets.
  • Additional certifications in sales and/or account management.
