About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our Long Term Care team at Sienna Senior Living. As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents to live their lives to the fullest.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide resident supervision and assistance with activities of daily living, including eating, dressing, hygiene, and grooming.
  • Support residents with communication and connections by encouraging the use of sensory aids such as glasses and hearing aids.
  • Administer medication under the supervision of a registered health professional, with additional prescribed training.
  • Ensure residents have access to mobility and assistive devices, such as canes and walkers.
Requirements
  • Completed a Personal Support Worker program from an approved college or private institution, or an Internationally Educated Nurse with a degree in Nursing.
  • Detailed-oriented and proficient in procedures and techniques involved in administering simple treatment and providing bedside care.
  • Exercise tact and diplomacy in working with seniors, their families, and general visitors.
