We are seeking an experienced Talent Sourcing & Development Lead to join our team at The Mullings Group, a private family office investment enterprise based in Victoria, BC. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping the organization's diverse needs and ensuing growth.

The Talent Sourcing & Development Lead will work closely with talent acquisition, HR operations, and senior management to develop and implement sourcing, development, and succession planning programs. Key responsibilities include developing human capital strategies, supporting employee sourcing and development initiatives, and implementing standardized processes for key activities.

Key performance indicators (KPIs) and related reporting metrics will be developed to track progress against strategic initiatives. Additionally, the role will foster internal talent mobility, drive workforce planning discussions, and evaluate vendor partnerships.

This position requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in talent acquisition or development, preferably within a family office setting. A strong understanding of Canadian labour laws and a proven track record of creative problem-solving and consensus building are essential.

Estimated Annual Salary: $120,000 - $150,000

Requirements:

  • Talent Acquisition/Talent Development experience: 7+ years
  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or related discipline; CPHR designation is considered an asset
  • Proven expertise in talent development and succession planning
  • Expertise in proactive sourcing program development
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience with Ceridian Dayforce (specifically the Talent modules)
  • Strong knowledge of Provincial and Canadian Labour and Employment Laws
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
