Job Summary

The Site Manager is accountable for the coordination, delivery, and management of all applicable air navigation services and operations within specific sites. This includes planning, allocating, and managing resources, including material, financial, and human resources.

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate and manage all applicable air navigation services and operations within the site(s).
  • Ensure the safety and quality of services provided by the site(s) in collaboration with the unit.
  • Evaluate site performance and identify safety-related issues.
  • Partner with Safety and Systems Performance, ANS Service Design, Evaluations and Investigations to formulate and implement corrective measures.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Accounting for site health, safety, personnel, security, and hazard prevention programs and services.
  • Planning and managing health, safety, and security inspections, investigations, and analysis of safety incidents, accidents, and complaints.
  • Planning and managing the development and delivery of site safety training, educational, and awareness initiatives, events, activities, and drills.

This position is based at the Montreal Area Control Centre and classified as a Hybrid position admissible to the Flex Work Policy. Regular travel within the FIR to ensure visibility and support at assigned sites is required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A proven track record of leadership experience demonstrating skills to manage people, processes, and information in an operational environment.
  • Knowledge of operational policies, standards, procedures, and techniques.
  • Experience in an operational aviation environment, an asset.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in the industry with at least 3 years of related supervisory/management experience of diverse and sometimes physically remote teams.
  • Bilingual (English and French)
