Senior Business Development Manager for Commercial Banking

About the RoleAs a Senior Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities in your market, increasing your commercial client base, and establishing business development strategies. You'll work closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop tailored financial solutions to help them achieve their business objectives.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and developing business opportunities in your market
- Increasing your commercial client base and establishing business development strategies
- Helping clients attain their business objectives through financial strategies and solutions
- Meeting clients' changing needs by adapting and optimizing financial products and advice
- Negotiating terms and conditions of agreements with clients while ensuring risk management standards and profitability criteria are met
- Assisting the Associate Vice-President in achieving objectives
- Working with the Manager - Financing Solutions
- Actively participating in networking activities to build relationships and identify new business opportunities
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of 4-8 years' experience in sales and business development within the financial industry
- A university certificate and at least 8 years' experience, or a Bachelor's degree and 6 years' experience, or a Master's degree and 4 years' experience
- Experience in sales and business development, analysis of financial statements, and commercial credit

Our estimated salary range for this role is between $80,000 and $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
