Our client in the education space is seeking an experienced IAM process analyst to help implement IAM technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of identity and access management principles, technologies, and best practices.
Responsibilities:
Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with the internal team to understand their IAM requirements, including access requirements, user roles, and regulatory compliance.
Process analysis: Evaluate existing IAM processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement, optimization, and automation.
Solution design: Translate business requirements into IAM solutions, including access controls, authentication mechanisms, and identity lifecycle management.
Stakeholder management: Work with cross-functional teams to communicate IAM strategies, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Risk assessment: Evaluate IAM risks and vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate security threats and compliance risks.
Documentation: Create process maps and architectural diagrams to facilitate communication and knowledge transfer.
Test and validate: Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation activities to ensure IAM solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
Training and Support: Provide training and support for end users and administrators on IAM processes, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications:
The ability to create process maps and architectural diagrams is essential. Experience with leading Identity & Access Management tools, such as SailPoint and Okta, is desirable. Certifications in relevant areas, such as CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001, and ITIL, are a plus.
