Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Coordinator, Peer Wellness Education and Programs to join our Student Wellness and Equitable Learning team at Humber College. The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, implementing, delivering, and evaluating content related to resiliency, well-being, mental health, harm reduction, and sexual violence prevention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement campus-wide outreach events and facilitate upstream educational trainings
  • Oversee peer-led services and provide functional guidance and training to a peer support team
  • Liaise with campus and community stakeholders to ensure programs meet institutional objectives
  • Collaborate with the cross-functional team to foster a supportive and inclusive environment for students
Requirements
  • University degree in an academic discipline relevant to the role
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a post-secondary, community, healthcare, or wellness environment
  • Knowledge of intersectional, anti-oppressive, and anti-racist best practices
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to engage and build rapport with various stakeholders and members of the post-secondary community
