Job Title: Coordinator, Peer Wellness Education and Programs

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Coordinator, Peer Wellness Education and Programs to join our Student Wellness and Equitable Learning team at Humber College. The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, implementing, delivering, and evaluating content related to resiliency, well-being, mental health, harm reduction, and sexual violence prevention.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement campus-wide outreach events and facilitate upstream educational trainings
  • Oversee peer-led services and provide functional guidance and training to a peer support team
  • Liaise with campus and community stakeholders to ensure programs meet institutional objectives
  • Collaborate with the Manager, Wellness Education and Programs to develop and implement program strategies
Requirements:
  • University degree in an academic discipline transferable to the role (e.g., education, psychology, public health, health promotion, social work)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a postsecondary, community, healthcare, or wellness environment
  • Knowledge of intersectional, anti-oppressive, and anti-racist best practices
  • Excellent knowledge of harm reduction, sexual health, resiliency, mental health, consent, and healthy relationship practices
  • Experience creating content for various instructional methods (in-person curriculum, online learning, videos, social media, web, and print)
