About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at 486897 Ontario Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate and manage food and supply costs to ensure optimal profitability.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to enhance our culinary offerings.
  • Lead and train a team of specialist chefs, chefs, and cooks to ensure exceptional food quality and presentation.
  • Supervise food preparation and cooking activities in multiple restaurants, ensuring adherence to quality standards and food safety protocols.
  • Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities, including menu planning and inventory management.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as leading and instructing individuals.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 30-hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a hot, cold, and refrigerated environment.
  • Fluency in English or French.
