Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Ontario Ltd. as a key member of our culinary operations.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for leading our culinary team in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, and maintaining a safe and efficient kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that meet the highest standards of quality, presentation, and flavor, while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Culinary Team Leadership: Supervise and train a team of cooks, specialist chefs, and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations, high-quality food preparation, and exceptional customer service.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, manage inventory, and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality ingredients.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all dishes meet our high standards of quality, presentation, and flavor.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe and healthy kitchen environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English or French.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
Work Environment:

The Executive Chef will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, exposed to hot and cold temperatures, and will be required to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
