Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Canada Ltd. as a key member of our culinary team.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for planning, preparing, and executing menus for our clients. This includes coordinating special events, determining food portions and costs, planning menus, and requisitioning food and kitchen supplies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate special events, including buffets and banquets
  • Determine food portions and costs, and plan menus accordingly
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and maintain inventory and records
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, including meals for patients with dietary restrictions
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas, and train staff in food preparation and handling
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and manage kitchen operations
  • Order supplies and equipment, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work area
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 35 hours per week
