At Wood, we are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead our Transmission, Substation, and Distribution projects in Vancouver. This is a critical role that requires a strong track record of project delivery and a passion for driving results in a fast-paced environment.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of our projects, from initiation to closure. You will work closely with our project teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

We are looking for a highly experienced professional with a strong background in project management, engineering, and operations. You will have a proven track record of delivering complex projects, and a deep understanding of project scheduling, monitoring, and forecasting techniques.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing project plans, including project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Leading project teams and ensuring that they have the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to deliver projects successfully
  • Managing project risks, issues, and changes, and developing mitigation strategies to ensure project success
  • Coordinating with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams, to ensure that project requirements are met
  • Monitoring and reporting on project progress, including financial performance, schedule, and quality metrics
