Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Operations Manager to join our team at Dairy Queen Grill and Chill. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Modify food preparation methods and menu prices to align with the restaurant budget and maintain profitability.
  • Monitor revenues and labour costs to ensure optimal staffing levels and minimize waste.
  • Supervise staff to ensure they are meeting performance expectations and provide coaching and training as needed.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and customer service initiatives.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to drive sales growth and increase customer loyalty.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
  • Physical stamina to work in a physically demanding environment.
