Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 15149576 CANADA INC. as a key member of our restaurant operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our kitchen staff, ensuring that food and service meet our high quality standards, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Kitchen Staff
    • Direct and supervise the activities of kitchen staff, including cooks, food preparers, and kitchen helpers
    • Ensure that kitchen staff are aware of and adhere to food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Manage Food Preparation and Service
    • Oversee the preparation and presentation of food to ensure that it meets our quality standards
    • Ensure that food is served in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain a Safe and Healthy Work Environment
    • Ensure that the kitchen is clean and well-maintained at all times
    • Identify and report any hazards or potential hazards in the kitchen
  • Train and Develop Staff
    • Provide training and guidance to kitchen staff on food preparation, safety, and sanitation procedures
    • Develop and implement training programs to improve staff skills and knowledge
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies
    • Oversee the ordering and inventory of food and supplies
    • Ensure that inventory levels are maintained at optimal levels
  • Monitor and Report Performance
    • Monitor kitchen performance and identify areas for improvement
    • Report performance metrics to management
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
    • Ability to train and develop staff
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with frequent exposure to noise, odors, and physical demands. The ability to stand for extended periods and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking is required.
