Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Preparation

Direct and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that staff are equipped to perform their roles effectively.

Inventory Management

Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Quality Control

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Reporting and Administration

Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, and maintain accurate records of food orders, inventory, and customer feedback.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role

Language

English

Work Hours

35 to 40 hours per week
