Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Nor-Lab Ltd. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Preparation

Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that staff are equipped to perform their roles effectively.

Inventory Management

Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock levels and usage.

Quality Control

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Reporting and Administration

Prepare and submit reports on food sales, inventory, and other key metrics, and maintain accurate records of staff performance and training.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role is preferred.

Language

Fluency in English is required.

Work Schedule

35 to 40 hours per week is typical for this role.
