Job Summary

As a Manager of Strategic Growth, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies that drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Capital One. You will lead a team of analysts and other associates to gather and visualize data, storytell through presentations, collaborate with experts in areas like legal and technology, and influence senior leadership on critical decisions. You will work with coding languages like SQL to query data, use spreadsheets and python-based notebooks to organize it, and slides to present it, along with a number of other modern analytics tools. We work in agile, cross-functional teams so you will also have the opportunity to learn from others like Data Scientists, Process Managers and Brand Strategists too.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop business strategies that drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Capital One.
  • Lead a team of analysts and other associates to gather and visualize data.
  • Collaborate with experts in areas like legal and technology.
  • Influence senior leadership on critical decisions.
  • Work with coding languages like SQL to query data.
  • Use spreadsheets and python-based notebooks to organize data.
  • Presentation of data using slides.
  • Participate in agile, cross-functional teams.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • At least 4 years of work experience with demonstrated ability to drive business strategy from inception to implementation, working with cross-functional teams.
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience (direct or indirect people / team leadership).
