About the Role

As a Manager of Strategic Growth at Capital One Canada, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies that drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for the company. You will lead a team of analysts and other associates to gather and visualize data, storytell through presentations, collaborate with experts in areas like legal and technology, and influence senior leadership on critical decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop business strategies that drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Capital One Canada.
  • Lead a team of analysts and other associates to gather and visualize data, storytell through presentations, collaborate with experts in areas like legal and technology, and influence senior leadership on critical decisions.
  • Partner with teammates in process management, technology, data science, and others to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Support step-change improvements in credit performance by connecting drivers of future consumer credit trends to historical behavior, creating risk models, and testing hypotheses using rigorous monitoring and analysis.

Requirements
  • Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to build and leverage the capabilities of a high-performing team.
  • Experience in analytical problem-solving, with a strong quantitative orientation and the ability to learn and grow technical skills.
  • Strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify and synthesize business challenges and opportunities, and solve for them using analysis to make strategic or tactical recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas both verbally and in writing, and drive agreement through intellect and interpersonal skills.
  • A successful track record of thriving in an entrepreneurial and dynamic environment, with experience in consulting or financial services a plus.
