At The LogHouse Pub, we are seeking a talented individual to fill our Sous Chef role. This position is responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in managing the kitchen, ensuring high-quality food is prepared and presented to our guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Instruct cooks in food preparation, cooking, and presentation
  • Supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient and safe food preparation
  • Prepare and cook meals and specialty dishes
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
  • Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Recruit and hire staff
  • Train staff in food preparation and handling
  • Manage kitchen operations and inspect kitchen areas
