Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at The LogHouse Pub. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of our menu items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning and preparation
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain inventory levels
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and execute special events and menu promotions
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent position
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
