About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced English language instructor to join our team at the British Council in Spain. As a key member of our teaching staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality English language instruction to students of all ages and levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English language lessons that cater to the needs of diverse student groups.
  • Monitor student progress, provide regular feedback, and promote learner autonomy through the use of homework and other teaching materials.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and materials.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students, particularly in the context of child protection, equality, diversity, and inclusion, and health and safety.
Requirements
  • Hold a recognized teaching qualification, such as the Cambridge CELTA or Trinity Certificate TESOL.
  • Have a minimum of one year of post-qualification teaching experience, with a focus on relevant age groups.
  • Be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with students, colleagues, and parents.
