Teaching Opportunity with the British Council

We are seeking a skilled and experienced English language instructor to join our team in Warsaw, Poland. As a freelance teacher, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of students, from young learners to adults, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality English language instruction.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver English language lessons to students of various ages and levels
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to help students achieve their goals
  • Contribute to the development and evaluation of English language courses and materials
  • Complete administrative tasks related to teaching and student management
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students, adhering to British Council policies and guidelines
Requirements
  • Hold a recognized teaching qualification, such as CELTA or Trinity Cert TESOL
  • Have a minimum of 2 years' experience teaching English as a foreign language
  • Be able to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in English, with a CEFR level of C2 or IELTS Band 8+
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Be able to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
