Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Medical Oncologist to join our team at VCA California Veterinary Specialists - Ontario, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical oncology and a passion for providing compassionate patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide medical oncology services to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of cancer cases.
  • Collaborate with other veterinarians and support staff to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical oncology research and advancements, sharing knowledge with colleagues and contributing to the growth and development of our team.
  • Prioritize and manage a high-volume caseload, ensuring timely and effective delivery of care to patients.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalent.
  • Licensure in good standing to practice veterinary medicine in the state of California.
  • Board certification or residency training in medical oncology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
