Job Summary

You will work collaboratively with the inter-professional care team to ensure comprehensive care planning and delivery.

Responsibilities

  1. Conduct thorough patient assessments, collecting information from various sources, and making nursing diagnoses to determine the best course of care.
  2. Develop and implement individualized care plans, prioritizing patient needs and collaborating with the care team to ensure effective care delivery.
  3. Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families on health management.
  4. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  5. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of evidence-based practices.
Qualifications

Education and Experience

Graduation from an approved School of Nursing and current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

Two (2) years recent relevant clinical experience in the designated clinical area and completion of post-graduate coursework and/or certification applicable to the designated clinical area, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
