Job Summary

MLSE is seeking an experienced partnership sales leader to drive the growth and development of new partnerships for the organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of prospecting, developing, and selling impactful partnerships.

The Director of Partnership Development will lead the partnership development process from initial touchpoint to contract execution, providing guidance and mentorship to team members. They will also contribute expertise in the ideation phase, designing personalized partnership proposals that showcase a deep understanding of clients' businesses and MLSE's value.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with senior clients. They will be self-motivated, with a positive and winning approach, incorporating integrity, confidentiality, and discretion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the partnership development process from initial touchpoint to contract execution.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Contribute expertise in the ideation phase, designing personalized partnership proposals.
  • Build positive relationships with senior clients.
  • Identify and handle important issues, adapting to changing plans and strategies.
  • Stay current with all facets of the dynamic marketing mix.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma, preferably in a business-related field.
  • 8-10+ years of partnership development and sales or related experience.
  • Preferred proficiency in brand marketing and coordinated partnerships.
  • Proven prospector with a track record of securing meetings.
  • Experienced people leader with a positive and winning approach.
