We are seeking an experienced Application Production Support Specialist to join our team at US Tech Solutions. This role is a critical position within our organization, and we need someone with strong technical skills and excellent problem-solving abilities.

About the Role

">

The primary purpose of this job is to ensure the day-to-day quality of service of live applications to end-users. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving incidents, answering user requests, monitoring production environments, and developing a good understanding of the existing application (functional and technical). This position also involves ensuring daily communication and transition with teams from other time zones, as well as participating in critical initiatives within the Team, interacting with Quality Control and Reporting Teams in the production of Key Performance Indicators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve incidents related to live applications">
  • Answer user requests in a timely and professional manner">
  • Monitor production environments to identify potential issues">
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the existing application's functional and technical aspects">
  • Ensure effective communication and transition with teams from other time zones">
  • Participate in critical initiatives within the Team, working closely with Quality Control and Reporting Teams to produce Key Performance Indicators">
  • Work on different alternating shifts as part of our follow-the-sun model">

Required Skills and Qualifications

">

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

">
  • ">
  • Expert knowledge in SQL queries (Sybase T-SQL mandatory, Oracle PL/SQL would be an advantage) and DBMS concepts (Sybase Replication Server would be an advantage)">
  • Expert knowledge and experience of working in Unix environments and Shell scripting">
  • Good knowledge and experience of working in MacOS environments">
  • Knowledge of programming languages (C, C++, .Net, VBA, Java, 4D) would be an advantage">
  • Knowledge of Schedulers (Autosys, Control M), ETL tool (Datastage WTX), and file transfer tools (CFT) would be an advantage">
  • Investment Banking/Capital markets knowledge">
  • Knowledge of ITIL">
  • Incident management">
  • Knowledge of cloud computing">
  • Knowledge of Dynatrace">
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role, providing multi-disciplined technical support as part of a team, with practical knowledge of performance and capacity management from an application, database, and network perspective, as well as a strong aptitude for automation">
  • Nice to have Mac knowledge">
  • Knowledge and experience of Investment service Industry">
  • Good knowledge of Mutual funds Administration">
  • Knowledge of data collection and analysis in a large and complex/diverse environment, including relevant qualifications or experience, would be an advantage">
  • Knowledge on Performance Breakdown and Attribution calculation would be an advantage">
  • Strong analytical skills">
  • Good interpersonal skills and team player">

  • Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent combination of education and experience">

Salary

">

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, with opportunities for advancement and professional growth.
