About the Role

Alteo Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Application Support Specialist to join our team in Montreal. As an Application Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our applications and providing top-notch support to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the handling of incidents with a view to their resolution.
  • Collaborate with the N2/N3 team to support and resolve production-related incidents.
  • Contribute to the analysis of team incidents and recommend actions to be implemented.
  • Contribute to the implementation of developments required to resolve incidents.
  • Contribute to unit tests and write documentation corresponding to modifications made.
  • Contribute to compliance with commitments and SLAs.
  • Support the operations team during production rollout.
  • Be on-call according to the schedule to intervene in case of need outside working hours.

Requirements

  • DEC/BAC in IT or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with the electronic payment industry.
  • IT project life cycle knowledge.
  • C language and PL/SQL language proficiency.
  • Shell system and Unix server experience.
  • Testing techniques and network certification.
