About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate clinical leader to join our Support Office team as a Regional Clinical Specialist. This role provides clinical support to our Village teams across the organization, including both Retirement and Long-Term Care settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Village clinical leadership teams in promoting and developing best practice nursing care and clinical services.
  • Be an integral part of the overall continuous quality improvement initiatives for clinical services.
  • Foster Schlegel Villages values of building trust, compassion, stability, and hope.
  • Encourage the growth and development of those they support.
  • Build internal and external relationships by demonstrating a serving leadership philosophy.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Long-Term Care or Retirement Homes, preferably at a leadership level.
  • Familiarity with using data to drive decisions and translating policies into practice.
  • Experience in gerontology, continuous quality improvement, research, adult learning, and change management.
  • Strong knowledge of RAI-MDS.
  • Ability to facilitate learning and demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and analytical thinking.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
