Job Summary

Realstar Management is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our team. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper physical maintenance of our properties, including the grounds. This role requires a strong understanding of maintenance systems, customer service skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure the grounds are maintained in accordance with established company standards, including landscaping, mowing, and snow removal.
- Conduct daily visual inspections of all mechanical, HVAC, and sprinkler systems.
- Assist in cleaning and maintaining common areas, including lobbies, elevators, hallways, stairwells, and amenity areas.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks, including light fixtures, vents, filters, and plumbing fixtures.
- Ensure that the property is in compliance with provincial and municipal regulations, including water testing.

Requirements

- Background in residential property management or related business experience.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic computer and keyboarding skills.
- Ability to perform minor repairs and aptitude for mechanical systems.
