About the Role

Crop Intelligence is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Business Agronomist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with our vendors, customers, and insight collaborators to grow the awareness of our Crop Intelligence insights, subscriptions, and hardware.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with vendors to set and execute sales goals to grow volume of our hardware and subscription offerings.
  • Manage leads from referral partners, tradeshows, and online referrals through the sales cycle.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors to ensure successful sales outcomes.
  • Train and engage vendors, customers, and collaborators on the insights delivered by our product to help end customers capture their full Water Driven Yield Potential.
  • Provide feedback on new insights and hardware products to be developed to meet customer needs.
  • Support the product in the field to ensure high-quality data collection to drive accurate insights.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working directly with decision makers on the farm or decision makers at farm retailers or dealers.
  • Strong understanding of agronomy and ability to connect data generated from our hardware to solve real-world problems.
  • Strong drive to build long-term relationships and increase the experience for both our vendors and customers.
  • Ability to travel 80% of the time, with the majority being day trips.
  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple priorities throughout the day.
