Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Adviser to join our team at YMM General Contracting. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing human resources policies and programs, advising managers and employees on HR matters, and mediating labour disputes and grievances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement human resources policies and programs to support the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements.
  • Mediate labour disputes and grievances in a fair and impartial manner.
  • Administer benefit employment equity and other human resources programs to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs to support employee development and growth.
  • Research employee benefits and health and safety practices to recommend improvements.
  • Hire, train, and supervise staff to ensure the effective delivery of HR services.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in human resources.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • Ability to work 30 to 40 hours per week.
