Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Special Orders Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating and shipping service and non-production parts to ensure timely delivery
  • Communicating with other departments regarding inventory needs and part issues
  • Packing shipments to customer specifications
  • Creating Bills of Lading, customs paperwork, and scheduling freight carriers
  • Maintaining an accurate service parts inventory
  • Coordinating and shipping special orders, including supporting ship notices for non-production shipments
  • Ordering shipping supplies and tracking container shortages
  • Completing supporting documentation for container shortages
  • Entering container receipts and BOL into customer systems
  • Assisting production with gathering equipment and tools

Key Requirements

  • Minimum Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent
  • College or university degree preferred
  • Excellent organizational, planning, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver's license and forklift license (or willingness to obtain)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite products
