The RoleWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our team in Barrie. As a Shipper/Receiver, you will play a key role in ensuring the continued flow of business through our location. You will be responsible for shipping and receiving inventory, maintaining inventory levels, and communicating with internal and external teams to ensure all inventory and shipments are correct.
Responsibilities- Shipping and Receiving Inventory: You will be responsible for shipping and receiving of goods and mobility equipment, including creating shipping orders and labels, packing custom orders, and ensuring courier pick up.
- Maintain Inventory of Mobility Devices and Equipment: You will act as the gatekeeper for all our inventory and physical assets stored in the warehouse, ensuring proper storage and packing as it enters or exits the dock.
- Communicate: Work with internal and external teams to ensure all inventory and shipments are correct and to make sure all shipping and receiving is coordinated.
- Experience: You have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in an inventory handling or a general warehouse role.
- Communication skills: You can clearly and concisely communicate in person, over the phone or on paper.
- Flexibility: You are able to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Additional must-have requirements: You are able to lift up to 50lbs, have a clean criminal background check, and are bondable.
