Job Summary:

This Shipper and Receiver position is responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of products from the warehouse to customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assemble containers and crates, record contents in the ERP system, and pack goods with tape or straps to minimize shipping damage.
2. Affix identifying information and shipping instructions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
3. Determine shipment methods, call for freight rates, and assemble boxes for loading trucks.
4. Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices, recording shortages and notifying the quality department of damaged goods.
5. Assist drivers with unloading goods, unpacking, recording, and delivering goods to storage areas.
6. Operate forklifts, pole trucks, and other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods safely and efficiently.
7. Ensure timely delivery of customer products to the right destination.
8. Assist in fabricating shipments and maintaining knowledge of company policies and procedures.
9. Maintain a positive working relationship with team members and management in a team environment.

Requirements:

High school diploma or vocational equivalent required. 3+ years' experience in shipping and receiving, loading and unloading trucks, and operating forklifts. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
