About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our team at Motion LP in Barrie. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and inventory through our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shipping and Receiving Inventory: You will be responsible for shipping and receiving goods and mobility equipment, including creating shipping orders and labels, packing custom orders, and ensuring courier pick up.
  • Maintain Inventory of Mobility Devices and Equipment: You will act as the gatekeeper for all our inventory and physical assets stored in the warehouse, ensuring proper storage and packing as it enters or exits the dock.
  • Communicate: You will work with internal and external teams to ensure all inventory and shipments are correct and to make sure all shipping and receiving is coordinated.
Requirements
  • Experience: You have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in an inventory handling or a general warehouse role.
  • Communication skills: You can clearly and concisely communicate in person, over the phone or on paper.
  • Flexibility: You are able to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Additional must-have requirements: you are able to lift up to 50lbs, have a clean criminal background check, and are bondable.
