We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipper/Receiver in Barrie. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and mobility equipment through our facility.
Key Responsibilities- Shipping and Receiving Inventory: Utilize our shipping software, Navision, to manage the shipping and receiving of goods and mobility equipment, including creating shipping orders and labels, packing custom orders, and ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Maintain Inventory of Mobility Devices and Equipment: Act as the gatekeeper for all inventory and physical assets stored in the warehouse, ensuring proper storage and packing, and utilizing our pump trucks and flatbeds to store, organize, and manage inventory.
- Communicate: Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure accurate and timely communication regarding inventory and shipments.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in an inventory handling or general warehouse role, with a moderate understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely communicate in person, over the phone, or in writing.
- Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects simultaneously, and working independently with minimal supervision.
- Additional Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50lbs, clean criminal background check, and bondable.
