Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Decent Painting & Decorating Ltd.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our operations team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our office.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role, a secondary (high) school graduation certificate, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events as required by the team.
  • Office Procedures: Determine and establish office procedures and routines to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and respond to electronic enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Travel Arrangements: Arrange travel, itineraries, and make reservations as needed.
  • Filing and Document Management: Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems, and type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents.
Work Environment:

The selected candidate will work in a fast-paced office environment with a dynamic team. The position is full-time, with a regular working schedule of 40 hours per week.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Team player with a positive attitude
Estimated Salary:

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
