About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Queen City Pizza Inc. as a Head Cook/Kitchen Manager. This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek, and the work language is English.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement menus that meet the high standards of our customers, taking into account food trends, seasonal ingredients, and nutritional considerations.

Culinary Operations

Oversee the preparation and cooking of complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Inventory Management

Requisition food and kitchen supplies, manage inventory levels, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Team Leadership

Lead and motivate a team of cooks and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Customer Service

Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service, responding to their needs and preferences, and providing a positive dining experience.

Health and Safety

Maintain a safe and healthy kitchen environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines.

Support for Diverse Groups
  • Physical Accessibility

Ensure that our kitchen and dining areas are accessible to all customers, including those with disabilities.

Support for Newcomers and Refugees

We participate in government and community programs that support newcomers and refugees, and we encourage our staff to do the same.
