Mental Health Nurse

Health Careers in Sask is seeking a skilled Mental Health Nurse to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires expertise in addictions treatment, mental health services, and harm reduction strategies.
Job SummaryThis position involves providing intensive case management to individuals with chronic and persistent mental illness. You will work within an individual and/or group context to deliver high-quality care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for clients with opioid and alcohol withdrawal symptoms.
- Provide education and training on harm reduction strategies, including ASIST suicide risk assessment.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in harm reduction strategies and conducting physical assessments.
- Experience working with Indigenous culture/traditions/health.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license.
We offer a competitive salary range of $42,040 to $52,440, plus additional benefits such as travel opportunities and professional development programs.
